Surinam Airways (SLM) está mejorando sus servicios en las rutas regionales

La aerolínea de Surinam, Surinam Airways está evaluando la optimización de los recursus de su flota de medio y amplio radio de acción. Con respecto a los vuelos regionales, la línea aérea empleará dos aviones Boeing 737-300 en lugar de tres, esto se traduce en un ahorro de los recursos en SLM.

Desde la aerolínea informa que el organigrama de los vuelos no sufriría modificaciones ni inconvenientes. A diferencia del organigrama anterior, las dos aeronaves utilizadas consideran que cubrirán los trayectos demandados. «Hemos notado que también podemos hacerlo con dos máquinas. Según nuestros cálculos actuales, también lo ahorraríamos con posibles retrasos», dice el director de SLM Robbi Lachmising.

También hay planes para volar a Cuba. La aerolínea quiere invertir en máquinas más económicas. «Para Marzo-Abril de 2018, SLM podrá poner en funcionamiento su propio Boeing 737-700 durante los próximos siete u ocho años», dijo Lachmising. En lo que respecta a la ruta del Atlántico medio, se deben tomar algunas decisiones. Al final, el Airbus A340-300 será reemplazado. Se piensa en un Boeing 787 «Dreamliners».

Met betrekking tot regionale vluchten zal de luchtvaartmaatschappij twee Boeing 737-300-vliegtuigen gebruiken in plaats van drie, wat zich vertaalt in een besparing van middelen in SLM.

Van de luchtvaartmaatschappij geeft aan dat het stroomdiagram van de vluchten geen wijzigingen of ongemakken zou vertonen. In tegenstelling tot het vorige organigram, zijn de gebruikte vliegtuigen van mening dat ze de gevraagde routes zullen dekken. «We hebben gemerkt dat we het ook met twee machines kunnen doen, volgens onze huidige berekeningen zouden we het ook met mogelijke vertragingen kunnen opslaan», zegt SLM-directeur Robbi Lachmising.

Er zijn ook plannen om naar Cuba te vliegen. De luchtvaartmaatschappij wil investeren in goedkopere machines. «Voor maart-april 2018 kan SLM de komende zeven of acht jaar zijn eigen Boeing 737-700 in gebruik nemen», zei Lachmising.
