Hainan Airlines recibió su primer Boeing 737-8 MAX
La entrega del primer Boeing 737-8 MAX a Hainan Airlines fue anunciada por el fabricante estadounidense en su cuenta de Twitter. «Un nuevo pájaro deja el nido. Este es el primer 737 MAX para Hainan Airlines y el 40th MAX entregado este año», dijo el 18 de Noviembre 2017.
La aerolínea Hainan Airlines es el segundo usuario chino del nuevo tipo después de Air China y realizó un pedido de 50 aviones, incluidas opciones, en el Salón Aeronáutico de Farnborough en 2016.
Según datos de Flightradar24, el avión registrado B-1390 salió de la planta de Boeing en Seattle el 18 de noviembre para unirse a la base de Hainan Airlines en Haikou, después de una escala en Honolulu y Guam.
La aerolínea utilizará su nueva aeronave entre Haikou y Beijing a partir del 25 de Noviembre 2017, y también operará en sectores domésticos entre Shanghai, Nanjing, Xian, Wuhan y Chongqing.
Se espera recibir la entrega de un segundo Boeing 737-8 MAX a fin de Noviembre. La aerolínea Hainan Airlines ha realizado un pedido de 20 Boeing 737-8 MAX para ser entregado a la línea aérea asiática. El Boeing 737-8 MAX de Hainan Airlines tiene capacidad para 176 pasajeros, 8 en Business y 168 en Economy Class. Los asientos están equipados con un soporte para tableta y puertos USB para cargar dispositivos electrónicos. La cabina tiene una decoración fresca en tonos de gris claro y rojo.
La flota actual de Hainan Airlines es de Boeing 737-700 (5) y Boeing 737-800 (144). La nueva versión MAX permitirá expandir sus servicios reduciendo el consumo de combustible y mejorando la calidad del servicio.
Boeing indicó que las aerolíneas chinas recibirán cerca de 100 Boeing 737 MAX a fines de 2018. Air China recibió su primer MAX 8 a principios de Noviembre 2017. Las aerolíneas China Eastern y China Southern también han encargado la última versión de la familia de aviones Boeing 737 que serán entregadas la próxima semana.
