Las demoras en el Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (NAICM) podría no estar listo para Octubre 2020

La Asociación Internacional de Transporte Aéreo (IATA) ha considerado que el Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (NAICM) no estaría listo para Octubre 2020. «No lo vemos real, la expectativa del gobierno de México la puesta a término en 2020 para ponerlo en operación, vemos difícil que en poco más de dos años el aeropuerto esté listo para esa apertura», ha afirmado el vicepresidente para las Américas de IATA, Peter Cerdá.

El Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México (GACM), encargado de la construcción del nnuevo aeropuerto ha indicado que sí se encuentran a tiempo con las licitaciones y que no habrá retrasos, manteniéndo como fecha final el 20 de Octubre de 2020.

El Vicepresidente de IATA para las Américas concluyó: «Para nosotros ya no es un tema cuándo se va a inaugurar, sino que se tenga la mejor terminal posible y eficiente, que brinde los servicios necesarios». Peter Cerdá espresó que desea que las reuniones con el Gobierno de México para conocer los avances de la nueva terminal se den con mayor regularidad.
