El Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario estará cerrado por 72 horas

Desde hoy martes, 28 de Noviembre por la tarde y por 72 hs el Aeropuerto de Rosario permanecerá cerrado a las operaciones comerciales por dos obras simultáneas en un sector de la pista y una de las calles de rodaje.

El anuncio sobre la suspensión temporal del Aeropuerto se realizó hace algunas semanas. Según informó la vocera del “Islas Malvinas”, Cecilia Gabenara Boero, se harán trabajos de demolición y construcción de lozas. Las obras no están relacionadas entre sí, pero se harán al mismo tiempo para que el cese de actividad sea el menor tiempo posible.

Las líneas aérreas han reprogramado las frecuencias semanales por la interrupción de los vuelos al Aeropuerto Rosario. Desde Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmaron que quienes tengan pasajes en esas fechas tienen la posibilidad de utilizar Aeroparque o modificar la fecha del ticket sin penalidad. Los servicios de Gol llegarán y saldrán de Aeroparque y Ezeiza. Latam y Copa también debieron alterar la programación de sus servicios en la semana.

A principio de mes, el gobernador anunció el llamado a licitación de la obra «Ejecución nueva terminal de pasajeros. Primera etapa». El proyecto, diseñado por la Unidad de Proyectos Especiales de la Provincia de Santa Fe, perteneciente al Ministerio de Obras Públicas, contempla en esta primera etapa, la creación de un nuevo sector de más de 11.550 metros cuadrados para la atención de vuelos internacionales, con una inversión de AR$ 946 millones de pesos y un plazo de ejecución de 18 meses.

Este proyecto es parte de un plan mayor a desarrollarse en distintas etapas que transformará sustancialmente al Aeropuerto de Rosario. La ejecución de la obra de duplicación de la plataforma comercial, la construcción de la nueva terminal de pasajeros, el aumento de espacios de estacionamiento y la diagramación de nuevos accesos vehiculares le permitirá al AIR aumentar su capacidad operativa impactando directamente en el desarrollo comercial y turístico de la región.

The announcement about the temporary suspension of the airport was made a few weeks ago.
