Nuevo aeropuerto internacional de Senegal para impulsar la economía de la región
El nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Senegal Blaise Diagne, inaugurado a principios de diciembre, mejorará la conectividad regional, reducirá los costos de transporte, crecerá y transformará la economía, cofinanciadores del proyecto, dijo el Banco Africano de Desarrollo.

Se dice que durante la construcción del proyecto, se crearon 3.000 empleos locales y 427 puestos de trabajo a tiempo completo para la fase operativa. Este aeropuerto también abrirá oportunidades de trabajo en los campos de ingeniería, mantenimiento, tecnologías de la información y seguridad en los próximos años.
El vicepresidente del Banco Africano de Desarrollo para el sector privado, la infraestructura y la industrialización, Pierre Guislain, dijo: “África debe estar lista para capitalizar esta oportunidad. Estamos encantados de que nuestros esfuerzos para financiar infraestructura de calidad crítica en todo el continente estén dando resultados. nos acerca más a ganar la batalla de conectividad de aviación y logística de África Occidental”.
Se espera que aproximadamente 3 millones de pasajeros pasen anualmente por AIBD. Se espera que la instalación active la aparición de pequeñas y medianas empresas; atraer inversionistas regionales y extranjeros, al tiempo que aumenta el potencial turístico para el país.
