La compañía Boeing continúa profundizando sus estrategias
El CEO de la compañía, Dave Calhoun, y el Presidente de la Junta, Larry Kellner, sacrificarán todos los salarios hasta fin de año. La compañía dijo en un comunicado: “Boeing está utilizando todos sus recursos para mantener las operaciones, apoyar a su fuerza laboral y clientes, y mantener la continuidad de la cadena de suministro durante la crisis de Covid-19 y a largo plazo”.
El Vicepresidente de Finanzas de Boeing, Greg Smith, dijo el Martes 24/03 que la adquisición del control de la división comercial del fabricante brasileño de aviones Embraer sigue siendo estratégicamente importante para la compañía estadounidense.
El ejecutivo también dijo que Boeing no está en conversaciones para recaudar nuevas deudas, ya que trata de contener las consecuencias de la pandemia de coronavirus: “Ahora no. Los mercados están básicamente cerrados. Quiero decir, realmente no hay muchas oportunidades para deuda adicional. Este es uno de los desafíos”.

The Boeing Company, CEO Dave Calhoun and Chairman of the Board Larry Kellner will sacrifice all wages until the end of the year. The company said in a statement: “Boeing is using all of its resources to maintain operations, support its workforce and customers, and maintain continuity of the supply chain during the Covid-19 crisis and in the long term”.
Boeing Vice President of Finance Greg Smith said Tuesday 03/24 that acquiring control of the commercial division of Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer remains strategically important to the American company.
The executive also said that Boeing is not in talks to raise new debt, as it tries to contain the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic: “Not now. The markets are basically closed. I mean, there really are not many opportunities for additional debt. This is one of the challenges”.
