Gobierno asume mayoría participación accionaria en Air Serbia
El Gobierno de Serbia con el 82% del capital social de Air Serbia ha quedado tras una reducción simultánea de la participación de Etihad Airways con la salida de la compañía árabe en virtud de un acuerdo entre el Ministerio de Economía de Serbia y Air Serbia. El Gobierno serbio ha recapitalizado la aerolínea de bandera nacional. Actualmente, la participación de la República de Serbia ha aumentado del 51% al 82%, mientras que la de Etihad Airways ha disminuido del 49% al 18%. La ampliación del capital social de la empresa se llevó a cabo con el fin de eliminar las perturbaciones en la economía provocadas por la pandemia.
El Consejero Delegado de Air Serbia, Sr. Duncan Naysmith, ha afirmado que, de esta forma, se asegura el funcionamiento ininterrumpido de la empresa y que, al tomar medidas que ya están en curso para agilizar el funcionamiento de la empresa, Air Serbia podrá superar las dificultades, fortalecer su posición en la región y continuar haciendo una contribución positiva directa e indirecta a la economía serbia, principalmente en el campo del transporte y el turismo.
La recapitalización de la aerolínea nacional serbia se llevó a cabo a petición de Air Serbia, de conformidad con el decreto del Gobierno de la República, emitido en Octubre de 2020, que se refiere a las condiciones de recapitalización de las entidades económicas afectadas por la pandemia. Este reglamento está totalmente en línea con el marco legal de la Comisión Europea (CE), que regula las medidas de ayuda estatal para apoyar la economía durante la pandemia actual, incluido el proceso de recapitalización.

The Government of Serbia with 82% of the share capital of Air Serbia has been left after a simultaneous reduction of the stake of Etihad Airways with the exit of the Arab company under an agreement between the Ministry of Economy of Serbia and Air Serbia. The Serbian government has recapitalized the national flag carrier. Currently, the Republic of Serbia’s share has increased from 51% to 82%, while that of Etihad Airways has decreased from 49% to 18%. The capital increase of the company was carried out in order to eliminate the disturbances in the economy caused by the pandemic.
The CEO of Air Serbia, Mr. Duncan Naysmith, has stated that, in this way, the uninterrupted operation of the company is ensured and that, by taking measures that are already underway to streamline the operation of the company, Air Serbia will be able to overcome difficulties, strengthen its position in the region and continue to make a direct and indirect positive contribution to the Serbian economy, mainly in the field of transport and tourism.
The recapitalization of the Serbian national airline was carried out at the request of Air Serbia, in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Republic, issued in October 2020, which refers to the recapitalization conditions of economic entities affected by the pandemic. This regulation is fully in line with the legal framework of the European Commission (EC), which regulates state aid measures to support the economy during the current pandemic, including the recapitalization process.

Влади Србије са 82% основног капитала Ер Србије преостало је након истовременог смањења удела Етихад Аирваис-а изласком арапске компаније према споразуму између Министарства економије Србије и Аир Сербиа. Влада Србије докапитализовала је носач националне заставе. Тренутно се удео Републике Србије повећао са 51% на 82%, док се удео Етихад Аирваис-а смањио са 49% на 18%. Докапитализација предузећа извршена је како би се елиминисали поремећаји у привреди изазвани пандемијом.
Генерални директор Аир Сербиа, господин Дунцан Наисмитх, изјавио је да је на овај начин обезбеђен несметан рад компаније и да ће предузимањем мера које су већ у току ради рационализације пословања компаније Аир Сербиа бити у могућности да превазићи потешкоће, ојачати своју позицију у региону и наставити да даје директан и индиректан позитиван допринос српској економији, углавном у области саобраћаја и туризма.
Докапитализација српског националног авио-превозника извршена је на захтев Ер Србије, у складу са уредбом Владе Републике, издатом у октобру 2020. године, која се односи на услове докапитализације привредних субјеката погођених пандемијом. Ова уредба је у потпуности у складу са правним оквиром Европске комисије (ЕК), која регулише мере државне помоћи за подршку економији током тренутне пандемије, укључујући процес докапитализације.
