Programa vuelos sin escalas a Buenos Aires

British Airways (BA) ha programado la reanudación del servicio sin escalas a la capital argentina, Buenos Aires/EZE, desde el inicio de la temporada de verano de 2023. Los vuelos directos entre Londres Heathrow/LHR y Buenos Aires Ezeiza/EZE regresarán el 26 de Marzo de 2023, operando cinco veces por semana (5Frq/S) utilizando aviones Boeing 787-8, con capacidad para 214 pasajeros.

La aerolínea del Reino Unido proporcionaba servicio diario antes de la pandemia. Desde Enero de 2022 los vuelos han operado con escala en São Paulo/Guarulhos/GRU, llevando el tiempo total de viaje a aproximadamente 16 hr. y 55 min. El regreso de la ruta sin escalas LHR—EZE reducirá el tiempo de vuelo en aproximadamente dos horas. British Airways (BA) has scheduled the resumption of non-stop service to the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires/EZE, from the start of the 2023 summer season. BA-007 London/Heathrow—Tokyo/Haneda 08:55-07:35 (next day), BA-006 Tokyo/Haneda—London/Heathrow 09:45-15:25 (same day). On other days there is a late morning departure from Heathrow with a return the following day.

In the London/Heathrow—Tokyo/Haneda route market it will compete with Japan Airlines and ANA Airways, both of which fly London—Tokyo taking the southern route over Kazakhstan and then over mainland China to Tokyo, Japan. For Tokyo—London, both take the northbound route over Alaska. During the Russian overflight ban, routes may change due to political situation etc. Currently, Japan still imposes restrictions on foreign tourists, but the rules are gradually being relaxed, while transit passengers are not affected by the sanitary measures.
