Nací en 1966, y desde que era un niño, era mi sueño de volar en un 747. En 1976, Aerolíneas Argentinas presentó el 747 en su flota; de hecho, fue una de las primeras líneas aéreas en América Latina en introducir el gran «Jumbo». Así que mi padre preparó una sorpresa para mí: Me dijo que compró boletos para mi familia para volar a un destino local en Argentina. Fuimos al aeropuerto y luego me dijeron otra verdad, la verdadera … ¡se compró los billetes internacionales y estábamos a punto de volar en el 747!

Era octubre de 1978,  yo tenía 11 años. Fue mi sueño hecho realidad, y mi sueño tiene un nombre: «Boeing 747.» Aún hoy en día, recuerdo la sorpresa que marca toda mi vida. Estoy enviando la foto de ese momento inolvidable. Gracias. ᴀᴡ

A Jumbo Surprise

I was born in 1966, and since I was a kid, it was my dream to fly in a 747. In 1976, Aerolineas Argentinas introduced the 747 in the fleet; in fact, it was one of the first airlines in Latin America to introduce the big Jumbo. So my father prepared a surprise for me: He told me that he bought tickets for my family to fly to a local destination in Argentina. We went to the airport and then he told me the real thing, the true … He bought international tickets and we were about to fly in the 747!

It was October 1978, and I was 11 years old. It was my dream come true, and my dream has a name: «Boeing 747.» Still today, I remember that surprise that marks my entire life. I´m sending the photo of that unforgettable moment. Thanks.
