La aerolínea turca Turkish Airlines ha anunciado este miércoles la cancelación de gran parte de sus vuelos desde o con destino al aeropuerto Atatürk de Estambul, tras el atentado múltiple que este martes ha dejado al menos 36 muertos y 147 heridos.
En un comunicado, la compañía ha anunciado que tras los «incidentes» ocurridos el martes, las «operaciones de vuelo del aeropuerto han tenido que ser restablecidas», por lo que «algunos» de sus vuelos han tenido que ser cancelados.
Si bien por el momento sólo se conocen los vuelos cancelados de este miércoles, la compañía ha pedido a sus clientes que revisen sus datos de vuelo para conocer cualquier posible modificación.
Asimismo, Turkish Airlines ha ofrecido a sus clientes con vuelos desde o hacia Atatürk entre el 28 de junio y el 5 de julio, la posibilidad de modificar las fechas o el destino, devolverlos o extender su validez —hasta el 31 de julio, incluido—, todo esto sin ningún tipo de cargo. La aerolínea turca, Turkish Airlines (THY), ha anunciado que habrá facilidad para el cambio y cancelación de los pasajes a causa del ataque terrorista perpetrado en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Estambul.
Los pasajeros registrados en todos los vuelos (salidas y llegadas) en el Aeropuerto de Atatürk entre los días 28 de junio y el 5 julio podrán cambiar todas las reservas y ciudades destinatarias con la condición de que hagan sus registros hasta el 31 de julio de 2016.
Además, será posible la devolución de los pasajes no usados. Los pasajeros, que deseen alargar el tiempo del pasaje, podrán hacerlo hasta el 31 de julio sin pagar diferencias o multas.

Turkish Airlines canceled most of its flights to Atatürk Airport
Turkish Turkish Airlines announced Wednesday the cancellation of much of its flights from or departing to Istanbul Atatürk airport after multiple attack that Tuesday has left at least 36 dead and 147 wounded.
In a statement, the company announced that after the “incidents” that occurred on Tuesday, the “airport flight operations have had to be restored,” so that “some” of its flights had to be canceled.
While so far only canceled flights on Wednesday are known, the company asked its customers to review their flight details to meet any possible changes.
In addition, Turkish Airlines has offered its customers with flights to or from Atatürk between June 28 and July 5, the possibility to modify the dates or destination, return or extend its validity up to the July 31, included- , all without any charge. Turkish carrier, Turkish Airlines (THY), it has announced that it will be easy for change and cancellation of tickets because of the terrorist attack in Istanbul International Airport.
Passengers registered on all flights (departures and arrivals) in Atatürk Airport from 28 June to 5 July will change all reservations and target cities with the proviso that make their records until July 31, 2016 .
