Azores Airlines está planificando ampliar sus operaciones transatlánticas con el A321neo

Azores Airlines (SATA) está planificando la incorporación del A321NEO que permitirá realizar operaciones transatlánticas desde las islas Azores hacia América. Las aeronaves serán incorporadas a comienzos de 2019 con lo que podrá modernizar la flota de medio/largo recorrido con una demanda de alrededor 220 pax.

La incorporación de estas nuevas aeronaves permitirá realizar nuevas rutas enun nicho de mercado donde no se juntifica una aeronave de mayor envergadura como los A310/A330 que ya posee la compañía, además de los A320.

«Nuestra misión esllevar las Azores a todo el mundo y traer el mundo a las Azores, y estamos encantados de invertir en el A321NEO para seguir cumpliendo con esta misión«, expresó el responsable delegado de SATA Group, Pablo Menezes.

La familia A320NEO, que comprenden los A319NEO, A320NEO, A321NEO incorporan nuevos motores LEAP-1A de última generación junto con dispositivos «sharklet’s» en las puntas de las alas que permiten reducir el consumo de combustible entre un 15% al 20% junto con reducciones de emisiones de carbono. El A321NEO podrá despegar desde las Islas Azores y operar en un rango de 7.400 km.

Azores Airlines is planning to expand its transatlantic operations with the A321neo

Azores Airlines (SATA) is planning to incorporate the A321NEO to perform transatlantic operations from the Azores to America. The aircraft will be incorporated in early 2019 which will modernize the fleet of medium / long tour with a demand of about 220 pax.

The addition of these new aircraft will allow for new routes enun niche market where larger aircraft is not juntifica as the A310 / A330 which already owns the company, in addition to the A320.

«Our mission esllevar the Azores to the whole world and bring the world to the Azores, and we are delighted to invest in the A321neo to continue to fulfill this mission,» said the head delegate of SATA Group, Paul Menezes.

The A320neo family, comprising the A319NEO, A320neo A321neo incorporates new engines LEAP-1A latest generation with devices «Sharklet’s» on the tips of the wings that reduce fuel consumption by 15% to 20% with reductions of carbon emissions. The A321neo will take off from the Azores and operate in a range of 7,400 km. A\W
