Bombardier Commercial Aircraft anunció hoy la entrega de dos aviones de turbohélice DHC-8 Q400 de la Agencia de vuelo Gobierno de Tanzania.
El avión, que fueron recién entregado con un 76 asientos, configuración de doble lavabo, será operado por Air Tanzania, la línea aérea nacional de la República Unida de Tanzania.
La entrega de los dos aviones aumenta la flota de turbohélices de la serie Q en África a aproximadamente 125 aviones, incluyendo 40 aviones Q400.
“Al mirar para ampliar las operaciones y aumentar nuestra red de rutas a través de Tanzania y el continente africano, el avión Q400 tecnológicamente avanzada es un componente clave en nuestra estrategia de crecimiento”, dijo el Dr. Leonard Chamuriho, Secretario Permanente del Ministerio de Transporte, Obras Públicas y Comunicación , Tanzania.

Air Tanzania Receives Two Bombardier Q400 Aircraft
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced today the delivery of the Tanzanian Government Flight Agency’s two DHC-8 Q400 turboprops. The aircraft, which were newly delivered with a 76-seat, dual-lavatory configuration, will be operated by Air Tanzania, the national airline of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The delivery of the two aircraft increases the fleet of Q Series turboprops in Africa to approximately 125 aircraft including 40 Q400 aircraft.
