La compañía proveedora de aviones Air Lease Corporation (ALC) ha cerrado un pedido con Boeing para adquirir un total de 14 aviones, 12 Boeing 737 MAX y dos 787-9, valorados en 1.787,8 millones de dólares (1.520,9 millones de euros) a precio de catálogo, según informó Boeing. Cinco Boeing 737-7 MAX, valorados en U$D461 millones de dólares (392,2 millones de euros); siete Boeing 737-8 MAX, que suman un precio de catálogo de U$D786,8 millones de dólares (669,5 millones de euros); y dos Boeing 787-9, U$D540 millones de dólares (669,5 millones de euros). Los aviones están equipados con los motores CFM International LEAP-1B, tecnología avanzada y otras mejoras que sirven para potenciar la eficiencia, el ahorro y la comodidad del pasajero, tal y como ha asegurado Boeing.
El consejero delegado y presidente de Air Lease Corporation, John L.
