Samoa Airways tomaría en arriendo un Boeing 737-800 de la filial de leasing de aeronaves de Icelandair
Anteriormente, el origen del arriendo de la aeronave sería a través de Fiji Airways como parte de un acuerdo de cooperación entre las compañías aéreas.

El Grupo Icelandair no es nuevo en la región del Pacífico. Tiene una 
asociación exitosa con Air Niugini que ha demostrado ser un catalizador para las conexiones internacionales de Papua Nueva Guinea. Icelandair actualmente alquila cinco aviones Boeing a Air Niugini, desde su asociación en 2007.

Previously, the origin of the lease of the aircraft would be through Fiji Airways as part of a cooperation agreement between the airlines.
Samoa Airways plans to operate between Samoa and Australia and New Zealand when Samoa’s joint venture with Virgin Australia ends in November.
The Icelandair Group is not new to the Pacific region. It has a successful partnership with Air Niugini which has proven to be a catalyst for international connections in Papua New Guinea. Icelandair currently rents five Boeing aircraft to Air Niugini since its partnership in 2007.
