Argentina está en un proceso de mejoras en la conectividad aérea para atraer turistas de todo el mundo
El Gobierno de Argentina ha informado que trabaja en la mejora de la conectividad aérea para conseguir un incremento del turismo, tanto interno como extranjero, en el marco de un plan de estrategia y logística.
La mejora de las conexiones aéreas es directamente proporcional al crecimiento de los turistas y forma parte de un plan estratégico que apunta a alcanzar la cifra de 70 millones de turistas internos y 9 millones de visitantes extranjeros en 2020. Las proyecciones estadísticas esperan superar la cifra récord de los 6 millones de turistas de este 2017. Según cifras oficiales, los europeos, estadounidenses y canadienses pasan una media de 14 días en el país, con un gasto aproximado de 1.200 dólares. Argentina apunta ahora al mercado asiático, con un nicho de entre 10 y 12 millones de turistas. En este sentido, según el ministro, los turistas gastan hasta U$D 2.000 dólares durante su estancia y su perfil se asocia con el lujo, las rutas del vino y los cruceros por el continente helado, la Antártida.
Argentina levanta vuelo
El ministro de Turismo, Gustavo Santos, expresó que “una de las líneas de trabajo es la conectividad, la «Revolución de los Aviones», como la hemos llamado, conectándonos con el mundo entero y, sobre todo, generando la posibilidad de que nuevas empresas aerocomerciales se radiquen en Argentina, se instalen en el país y puedan hacer vuelos internacionales”.
El incentivo para que las líneas aéreas extranjeras se radiquen en el país es “la oportunidad que representa el mercado argentino ya que hubo 15 años de no incorporación de nuevas aerolíneas y aspiramos a triplicar el movimiento aerocomercial argentino”, dijo el Ministro de Turismo de Argentina.
Argentina estima que en 2018 habrá 20 millones de pasajeros, una cifra que ascenderá a 30 millones entre los próximos cinco y ocho años. El país también trabaja por recuperar 19 aeropuertos a partir de un plan de inversión de obra pública.
