El Aeropuerto de Saratov se está construyendo en la ciudad rusa homónima y portará el nombre de Yuri Gagarin en honor al primer cosmonauta soviético y del mundo

“Los ciudadanos de nuestra región eligieron el nombre Gagarin en honor a la primera persona en la historia mundial que hizo el viaje al espacio”, dijo el vicepresidente del gobierno de la región Vasili Razdelkin. La capacidad de tráfico de pasajeros del futuro aeropuerto será de un millón de personas al año y tendrá una superficie total de 25.000 de metros cuadrados.

Está previsto que el aeropuerto se construya a finales de 2018 y comience a funcionar en marzo de 2019. Fue precisamente en la región de Sarátov donde Yuri Gagarin aterrizó tras su vuelo al espacio en la nave Vostok el 12 de abril de 1961.

Аэропорт «Саратов» строится в одноименном русском городе и будет носить имя Юрия Гагарина в честь первого советского и мирового космонавта

“Граждане нашего региона выбрали имя Гагарина в честь первого человека в мировой истории, совершившего поездку в космос”, сказал вице-президент правительства региона Василий Разделькин. Грузоподъемность будущего аэропорта составит один миллион человек в год и будет иметь общую площадь 25 000 квадратных метров.
