Hong Kong Airlines y Fiji Airways establecieron una alianza para mejorar la distribución de los destinos de los viajeros en el Asia Pacífico
La apertura de nuevos destinos de Asia del Sudeste y Micronesia es fruto de una nueva asociación entre Hong Kong Airlines y Fiji Airways. El nuevo acuerdo de codeshare, los clientes de ambas aerolíneas tendrán mayor conectividad entre los seis principales destinos del Pacífico Sur y Asia.
El director comercial de Hong Kong Airlines, Li Dianchun, expresó que el inicio de la asociación con Fiji Airways era una buena noticia para los pasajeros de ambas aerolíneas. “Nuestros pasajeros ahora tienen una nueva opción para disfrutar de las playas de arena blanca y las islas estéticamente agradables de Fiji bajo un clima soleado todo el año”, remarcó.
Según el acuerdo, el código “HX” de Hong Kong Airlines se colocará en los vuelos de Fiji Airways entre Hong Kong y Nadi, así como Nadi y Auckland. Al mismo tiempo, Fiji Airways pondrá su código “FJ” en los vuelos de Hong Kong Airlines entre Hong Kong y Bangkok, Tokio y Osaka. “Estamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a más nuevos amigos de Fiji a bordo de los vuelos de Hong Kong Airlines para explorar la bulliciosa ciudad contemporánea de Hong Kong, que encarna la única cultura oriental-occidental”.

At the same time, Fiji Airways will put its “FJ” code on Hong Kong Airlines flights between Hong Kong and Bangkok, Tokyo and Osaka. “We are excited to welcome more Fijian friends aboard Hong Kong Airlines flights to explore the bustling contemporary city of Hong Kong, which embodies the unique Eastern-Western culture”.
Fiji Airways managing director and CEO Andre Viljoen said the national airline was delighted to partner with Hong Kong Airlines to help expand its presence in northeastern Asia. “The agreement will enable customers and their luggage to be billed all the way to their final destinations, offering convenient transit options in Hong Kong and Nadi.” “We look forward to welcoming more Asian travelers to our home, Fiji, one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the world,” said Andre Viljoen.
Mr. Viljoen added that the service on board Fiji Airways has been enhanced for the convenience of Asian guests and this includes Asian menus and the availability of Mandarin and Cantonese interpreters on every flight between Hong Kong and Nadi.
Air tickets between Hong Kong and Nadi as well as Nadi and Auckland under the code-share agreement can be purchased through travel agencies or through the sales offices and call centers of both airlines.
