El Aeropuerto internacional de Rosario incorporará ampliaciones dentro de un plan estratégico para la región
El Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario contempla la construcción de un nuevo sector de más de 11.500 metros cuadrados con capacidad para ocho aeronaves. El presupuesto oficial es de $ 946.000.000. En el acto desarrollado en la sede de Gobierno de Rosario, el Gobernador de Santa Fe, Miguel Lifschitz, el Senador Departamental Miguel Capiello; el Ministro de Infraestructura y Transporte, José Garibay; el Secretario de Transporte de Satna Fe, Pablo Jukic y los integrantes de la Comisión Asesora del AIR.
Etapas para ampliación
Primera etapa contemplado por la Unidad de Proyectos Especiales de la Provincia de Santa Fe, perteneciente al Ministerio de Obras Públicas de Santa Fe, establece la creación de un nuevo sector de más de 11.550 metros cuadrados para la atención de vuelos internacionales, con una inversión de AR$ 946 millones de pesos y un plazo de ejecución de 18 meses.
El Gobernador de la Provincia de Santa Fe, Miguel Lifschitz destacó los proyectos estratégicos para el desarrollo de Rosario y la región, incorporando al aeropuerto en el lugar estratégico que ocupa Santa Fe desde el punto de vista de la producción.
El objetivo es convertir al Aeropuerto internacional de Rosario en una verdadera alternativa de Ezeiza y Aeroparque, ya que Rosario es el segundo centro emisor de vuelos al exterior después de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Posee un radio de influencia donde residen más de 2 millones de habitantes que abarcan la Provincia de Santa Fe, parte de la Provincia de Córdoba, el norte de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y la Provincia de Entre Ríos.
Dentro del plan estratégico de mediano y largo plazo; cada uno de estos proyectos esta pensado en perspectivas al futuro de tal manera que sean pasos concretos para terminar en pocos años con el objetivo final de tener un aeropuerto a escala internacional de primer nivel.
Por su parte el presidente del directorio del Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario, Matías Galíndez, aseguró que “esta obra tan importante se financiará a través del gobierno de Santa Fe y del propio Aeropuerto, y también llevaremos adelante su financiamiento en el mercado de capitales. Paralelamente hemos solicitado al gobierno nacional su acompañamiento mediante un proceso de inversión que abarque equipamiento e instrumental estratégico junto con la construcción de una nueva torre de control e incorporación de señalización que eleve la categoría del aeropuerto de CAT1 a CAT3, lo que permitiría operar en condiciones climáticas adversas”.
Entre otras novedades está el envío a Legislatura Provincial de un proyecto de ley para convertir al aeropuerto en una sociedad anónima de capital público. De sta manera el Gobierno de Santa Fe estudia modificar la estructura jurídica del ente para darle una mayor capacidad de gestión a las autoridades y a todo el equipo de trabajo del aeropuerto.
Ampliacion del A.I.R.
La ampliación del Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario comprende modificaciones en la parte norte de la actual terminal donde se ubicarán los diferentes sectores resueltos en tres niveles. El proceso de embarque y desembarque de las aeronaves se realizará mediante mangas. Las salas de arribo y partidas tendrán una capacidad para 440 pasajeros cada una por cada frecuencia de slot.
El diseño del edificio contempla aspectos tecnológicos y de eficiencia energética incorporando fachadas vidriadas sostenidas por red de cables y con dobles vidriados de alta prestación térmica, complementándose con sistemas de acondicionamiento térmico que operan economizando recursos en función de la temperatura exterior.
En los próximos meses, el AIR prevé iniciar la construcción de nuevas cocheras sobre el frente de la terminal. Así se elevará el número a 450 espacios y una vez finalizada la primera etapa del edificio de la nueva terminal, este número ascenderá a 700.
Este proyecto es parte de un plan mayor a desarrollarse en distintas etapas que transformará sustancialmente al Aeropuerto de Rosario. La ejecución de la obra de duplicación de la plataforma comercial, la construcción de la nueva terminal de pasajeros, el aumento de espacios de estacionamiento y la diagramación de nuevos accesos vehiculares le permitirá al AIR aumentar su capacidad operativa impactando directamente en el desarrollo comercial y turístico de la región.

Among other novelties is the sending to the Provincial Legislature of a bill to convert the airport into a public limited company. Expansion of A.I.R.
The expansion of Rosario International Airport includes modifications in the northern part of the current terminal where the different sectors will be located, resolved in three levels. The design of the building contemplates technological aspects and energy efficiency incorporating glass facades supported by network of cables and with double glazing of high thermal performance, complementing with thermal conditioning systems that operate economizing resources depending on the exterior temperature.
In the coming months, the AIR plans to start the construction of new garages on the front of the terminal. This will raise the number to 450 spaces and once the first stage of the building of the new terminal, this number will amount to 700.
