The big commercial aviation construction companies will meet at the Arab aeronautical fair par excellence. Dubai Airshow is an important platform for Airbus to highlight its best products and innovative services for customers. The continued participation of Airbus in the largest aviation event in the Middle East demonstrates its continuing commitment to improving the aerospace and aviation industries in the United Arab Emirates and the region in general.
Airbus Group Participation
In the case of Airbus, it will present the «Future of Flight» at the Dubai Airshow 2019. Airbus will exhibit its wide range of innovative technologies, products, and services, from market-leading commercial and military aircraft to helicopters and space systems.
On the static screen, visitors can approach the range of commercial Airbus aircraft. This includes the A350-900, the fundamental member of the A350 XWB family, the Salam Air A320NEO, the world’s most popular single-aisle aircraft family, as well as the Egyptair A220-300, the newest member of the Airbus single-aisle family. Airbus will also display an ACJ319 from K5 Aviation, highlighting the comfort and space offered and echoing the trend towards larger cabins in new-generation business aircraft. An ACJ319, operated by K5 Aviation on VIP flights, will highlight the widest and tallest cabin of any business jet. Airbus corporate jets have a strong presence in the Middle East market with the ACJ320 family and VIP widebodies. On the customers’ screen, Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways will exhibit their A380s, giving the opportunity to tour the popular two-story and see their award-winning products in all classes.
The daily flight display will include the A330-900, a variant of the Airbus A330NEO, as well as the A400M transport aircraft. Airbus Helicopters will show the H225 of the Kuwait Police, adapted to the specifications of the Kuwait police force. The 11-ton twin-engine helicopter is the choice of commercial operators and government agencies due to its long-range and all-weather capabilities. Meanwhile, Airbus Defense and Space will present the new generation A400M aircraft and the very versatile military transport and mission aircraft C295, as well as the A330 MRTT, multi-role tanker transport, the only new generation tank truck tested in combat.
As the official founding partner of Air Race E, Airbus will present the first example of an electric racing plane scheduled to compete in the world’s first electric plane racing series to be launched in 2020. The competition will drive the development of cleaner technologies, faster and technologically more advanced. Electric motors can be applied to urban air mobility vehicles and eventually commercial airplanes.
At the Global Air Traffic Management exhibition in the exhibition hall, stand 157, Airbus UTM and Airbus companies Metron Aviation and NAVBLUE will demonstrate how Airbus is helping the Air Traffic Management industry to minimize delays, reduce fuel costs and balance demand and capacity through the flow of air traffic Management (ATFM).

Boeing participation
Boeing will focus on safety, innovation, and partnerships at the Dubai Airshow 2019. The interactive exhibit highlights how Boeing and its partners are building the future together. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on flight display; Etihad 787-9, Emirates 777-300ER and Boeing PAV on static display. Static defense screens include F-15, KC-46, H-47, and V-22.
Boeing will exhibit its broad portfolio of products, services and commercial and defense technologies at the Dubai Airshow 2019, which will take place from November 17 to 21, 2019 at Dubai World Central. The U.S. Department of Defense will also exhibit several Boeing platforms at the show, including an F-15E fighter, an MV-22 tilt engine, and a KC-46A tanker. The UAE will exhibit a Chinook CH-47F helicopter.
The Boeing market perspective values the Middle East commercial aircraft and services market at more than US$ 1.5 trillion over the next 20 years. Boeing also anticipates that 40% of defense and space opportunities in the next decade will originate outside the United States with a solid platform and service growth opportunities in the Middle East.
Company leaders will discuss these market opportunities and other issues in a series of media briefings during the show.
