The Boeing Company establece Comité de Seguridad
El compromiso del Presidente de Boeing, Dennis Muilenburg y el Consejo de Administración reafirman su empresa con la seguridad. La Junta establece un Comité de Seguridad permanente aeroespacial para anunciar recomendaciones para las revisiones independientes.

La junta también nombrado en el Comité actuales miembros de la Junta Boeing Lynn Good, Presidente y CEO de Duke Energy Corporation, y Lawrence Kellner, Presidente, Emerald Group Creek y el ex-Presidente y CEO de Continental Airlines. Reafirmando el compromiso de Boeing para la seguridad del ecosistema mundial aeroespacial y para la seguridad de sus productos y servicios, la Junta recomienda crear un producto y la organización de Servicios de Seguridad. La Junta recomienda que un nuevo producto y la organización de servicios de seguridad pueden crear e informar directamente a la dirección de la empresa de alto nivel y de la junta de Comité de Seguridad Aeroespacial responsabilidades de la organización que incluirían la revisión de todos los aspectos de seguridad de los productos, incluyendo la investigación de casos de una presión indebida y las preocupaciones de seguridad de productos y servicios anónimos planteadas por los empleados. Realinear la función de Ingeniería

These board members each have extensive experience leading companies and organizations in regulated industries and government entities that safety is paramount. On the other hand, the Board modified the company’s Principles of Government to include experience related to safety as one of the criteria it will consider in the election of future directors.
The board also announced today its recommendations from the five months of independent review of the company’s policies and processes for aircraft design and development by the Aircraft Policies and Processes Committee, formed in April 2019 after the accidents JT-610 flights from Lion Air and ET-302 from Ethiopian Airlines where two Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft were involved. Reaffirming Boeing’s commitment to the security of the global aerospace ecosystem and to the safety of its products and services, the Board recommends creating a product and the organization of Security Services. Realign the Engineering function
The Board recommends that engineers throughout Boeing, including the new product and the Security Services organization, depend directly on the machine manager, who in turn reports directly to the company’s CEO. The Chief Engineer of the company should focus his attention mainly on the Engineering function and the needs linked to society, with the support of a senior leader who is responsible for the development, implementation, and integration of new technologies, tools, processes, and digital systems. The board believes that the recommended realignment would be to strengthen the company’s engineering function, promote continuous focus throughout the company on the customer, business unit and operational priorities, and result in a greater emphasis on safety.
Design Requirements Program
The Board recommends that the Realigned Engineering function create a formal design requirements program that incorporates historical design materials, data and information, best practices, lessons learned and detailed post-action reports. The board believes that this will reinforce Boeing’s commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of learning and innovation.
Improve the Continuous Operation Safety Program
The Board recommends that the company modify its Continuous Operation Safety Program to require all potential safety reports and be provided to the machine manager for review. This requirement would increase transparency and ensure safety reports of all levels of the company are reviewed by senior management.
The Board recommends that the Boeing partner with its airline customers and others in the industry reexamine the assumptions regarding the design and operation of piloting, design assumptions have evolved over time, and the company must guarantee cover designs of flight continue to anticipate the needs of demographic changes and future pilot populations. In addition, the company must work with all those interested in aviation to advise and recommend pilot training in general, methods and study programs when warranted, above those recommended in a traditional training program for all commercial aircraft manufactured by the company.
