La aerolínea China Southern Airlines tomó posesión de dos Boeing 737-8 MAX
Boeing anunció el Martes, 28 de noviembre de 2017 tomó pocesión de dos Boeing 737-8 MAX. Su configuración debe contar tres clases, como en el 737-800 que posee en su flota.
China Southern Airlines con sede en el Aeropuerto de Guangzhou-Baiyun, se había comprometido en Diciembre de 2015 a adquirir cincuenta Boeing 737-8 MAX, y había agregado otras treinta el mes de Octubre 2017. El anuncio fue formulado acompañando un pedido de 777-300ER y 737-800. En su adquisición más reciente, la compañía de la alianza SkyTeam afirmó haberse beneficiado de concesiones sustanciales en los precios.
